Grab a drink, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and attend an exclusive event that will redefine how you think about creating a workplace environment that supports connection at work (in person and virtually).
The event promises to be a thought-provoking discussion that explores the connections we share with the people closest to us, and how they influence our lives, our work, and our sense of meaning through the power of a funny little word called propinquity.
Hear Christopher Good, One Workplace’s Chief Creative Officer, present his TedX talk on The Power of Propinquity.
Gain insight from leaders who will discuss the importance of culture, workplace experience, and workplace design in shaping environments that promote connection, belonging, and collaboration.
Network with peers and solution experts to share insights, lessons learned, and explore potential collaborations.

TUESDAY, APRIL 2ND
4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Panel: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Location: The address to The Shop is 1201 2nd Avenue, Suite #100 (Seattle, WA 98101), however physical entrance is on the east side of 1st Avenue, between Seneca and University.
Public Transportation: The Shop is located one block away from the University Street Light Rail station; Kind County Metro information can be found here and cycling routes can be found here.
Accessibility: The Shop has a flat, street-level entrance at both the north and south doors; both double doors open fully if needed. The north entrance has a ramp into the main space. There are two large single-occupant all-gender restrooms with wall railings. If traveling via street from 2nd Avenue, University Street has a much gentler incline than Seneca. If you’re parking in the 2+U parking garage and use a wheel chair/mobility device or are otherwise unable to use stairs, please reach out in advance so that someone from our team can assist in navigating the building’s labyrinth of FOB-only elevators.
Parking: Paid parking is available in the 2+U building garage (the building that houses The Shop); hourly/daily rates vary depending on arrival/stay length and we sadly are currently unable to validate parking. The garage entrance is between 1st & 2nd on the north side of Seneca. Seneca is a one-way street, so the garage entrance will be on the right as drivers are traveling between 2nd and 1st. The ‘West Elevator’ bay is out of service at the moment; you’ll need to take the ‘East Elevator’ up to ‘V’ level. From there, walk through the glass double doors, across the courtyard, and down the stairs onto 1st Avenue; the entrance to The Shop is to the left (south). There are a handful of additional paid lots/garages both north and south of us on 1st Avenue; paid parking is also available on the named streets (east-west) all day and after 7pm on the numbered avenues. Please note that street parking on the numbered avenues largely turns into a tow-zone from 3pm-7pm.
